Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When young Lady Redyan thought of find the perfect horde of protectors for her coming child, she asked the greatest of her hunters to ponder into the wild and dense jungles to look for dragons that were social yet quick and fierce dragons and catch a couple of them so that they could breed in captivity...

Electra Magnifus was the first of these dragons who was born and bred in captivity only to serve one purpose... Protect the young master Velryd... Soon joined in by his brothers, Magnifus is now the leader of the horde which serves as Velryd's own defence barrier.
