It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dear Maiden is the oldest dragon in her cave. She has a very motherly disposition and loves to watch over the eggs in the nest and play with the hatchlings. Nobody is quite sure who originally brought her to the cave, but after she hatched she managed to make it to adulthood by herself. After that she set out to start her own brood of dragons and the cave has been growing ever since. She is the one who chooses which abandoned eggs to take into the cave and raise, and she also is responsible for the well being of any orphans or adopted hatchlings. The first egg she ever choose and hatched turned out to be her mate. His name is Creative Muse and they both are old and wise. The other dragons call her the Cave Mother because she nurtured them all into the giant cave they have grown into today. It is her work that led the cave to grow and prosper.
