Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A very loud and boisterous dragon, Mine (pronounced ME-nay) is probably the friendliest of Youkoartemis' dragons. He's very open and friendly, but can be somewhat standoffish when insulted, due to his rather short temper. This puts stress on his relationship with Chiaki, who is known (and feared) for his harsh (but usually true) insults.

Mine has a great love for rock and roll, but also came to enjoy classical music, due to Chiaki's great love of good classical music.

Mine considers Chiaki as one of his best friends, but was greatly upset and hurt when he found out that Chiaki didn't feel the same way. Or at least, that's what Chiaki said in reply to hearing Mine saying he and Chiaki were best friends. Mine's still a bit sore over that, but he doesn't let it make him bitter. In general, Mine gets along very well with the other dragons, despite the way he and Chiaki are almost constantly at odds.
