Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Geodebite knows well the importance of keeping a sunny outlook in dark times in the Traitor King's Weyr. Finding the small, good things every day is what keeps her going. Those who initially rebelled against the Old Featherwing Weyr, Geodebite included, hoped for the unique and beautiful dragons to be free from the control of the puny, unworthy human Feathers and to answer only to themselves.

Well, in a terrible sort of way, Geodebite got her wish: as the fighting began to die down and Feathers was driven out, Yule and his followers were double-crossed by a Magma named Flameflow who denounced all of them as impure and banished them from the old Weyrlands. Stuck together trying to survive in the hostile desert, the dragons of the Traitor King's Weyr indeed rule themselves now.

Geodebite tries to stay positive. Recently, King Yule struck a bargain with some Undines to hide away their golden-scaled offspring in exchange for better hunting grounds in the winter. Things might be looking up!
