Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eva the Oracle lives deep in a network of caves that few other dragons have dared to settle in, popularly called the Dread Network. It is said that powerful monks live in those caves, and only a fool goes there uninvited. Eva the Oracle can be sought out by worthy petitioners in the outer caves, but her aimless and riddle-filled advice isn't usually helpful. She is protected by Ian Gargoyle, who shares a cave with her. They get along mostly because Ian doesn't speak or move much, and he doesn't mind when she wanders... both physically and mentally. Needless to say, he does most of the work when it comes to raising their hatchlings; Eva can handle being domestic for only so long before she starts to lose herself.
