Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Very narcissistic and a bully, Zira is the king of sarcasm. Even when he does say something nice to someone, it's loaded with irony and falseness. He just enjoys putting others down, it's how he makes himself feel higher. Despite his ability to dish it out, however, Zira cannot take it himself. As much as he presents himself as this perfect, emotionless monolith, it really doesn't take much to set him off and make him go ballistic. He goes so quickly from irritatingly smug to outright hatchlingish. He's petty, too, if that wasn't already assumed. If Zira has been slighted, he will go to any length to get the last laugh, be it from a spiteful remark, cruel prank, or even outright violence. Zira is not much of a fighter. His small size and lack of physical strength make him poor in any sort of combat, but he can fight dirty and will use cheap tactics to hurt others. He's just an all around nasty guy with very, very few friends, if any at all.
