White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sarafym is a sweet-tempered, gentle white dragon. She is one of the oldest dragons in the clan, being born from one of the four original eggs hatched within it.  She is always kind and soft-spoken, but her true affections are reserved for her mate, Glacier Star, a winter dragon who hatched close to the same time that she was born. The thing she loves most- other than being with Glacier Star -is caring for the clan's new eggs and hatchlings. It breaks her heart when any of them are sick, and when this happens she will do everything she can to heal them. She can often be found in the nursery, watching the hatchlings play while her soft, white feathered wings rest gently over the clutch of eggs, nestling them close to her body and keeping them safe.
