Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Chris is a very happy and friendly, if not so smart, dragon. In fact, Chris can be a complete idiot, but he's a nice idiot, and one that no one can really stay mad at for long. His idiocy is often good for a laugh, but no one is ever really malicious about it, though Joseph and Forest have bordered on such with their pranks, at times.

The only dragon that Chris doesn't like is Wesker, because Wesker betrayed him and his friends, nearly getting them all killed. Chris can't stand Wesker, and hates the other dragon with an intensity only rivaled by Wesker's hatred for Chris. Other than that, Chris gets along with virtually anyone (especially Jill, who he simply adores, though he's too afraid of ruining their friendship to say anything about it).
