Falconiform Wyverns are normally shy creatures. However, when approached, they often feel threatened, and the flames along their bodies leap higher. Females tend to be smaller than males, though Falconiform Wyverns are typically rather large overall. They use their size to their advantage by hunting smaller dragons. The Falconiform’s graceful, swooping dives are said to resemble birds of prey. Falconiforms are largely solitary dragons that only meet in order to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Brigid is far more skittish compared to her siblings. Largely solitary, she typically hides within high mountain caverns where her dark scales help to conceal her. She doesn't prefer fighting and is even squeamish about hunting other dragons (not that her sanctuary home allows it anyway.) Instead, whenever confronted, Brigid will flash her wings and flames as big as she can possibly make them in order to scare her enemy away without fighting them. This tactic has proven pretty useful since she is fairly large for a female. When this doesn't work, however, Brigid sort of panics. She actually has some pretty bad anxiety that prevents her from thinking clearly in even remotely stressful situations. So, whenever she feels extremely pressured, she'll lash out like nothing else, biting, scratching, and burning whatever threatens her until it finally runs away. Even her more openly aggressive sister, Aodh, is impressed with the strength she can muster in these events.
