Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eqin came into the Valley out of the blue- literally. It was Summer. The sky was blue and cloudless. All of a sudden the sky was crowded by dark clouds. It stormed for two weeks. All of the dragons in Valley Clan were hungry. The hunters hadn't gone out since it started to storm. All of the prey had taken cover in the forests. The lower lands had flooded. The rushing water damaged grazing land and drowned the prey that lived there. The Clan found Eqin when Sonnoh sent a team of dragons to investigate the area above the clouds. She was badly hurt and upset. They managed to calm her and take her back to the cave. She had been half crazy when they brought her but her senses returned when she bagan to recover. She could remember nothing of her past but from her raving at least the Clan had her name. Eqin is a silly, sensitive dragon. She loves nature and as payment for what she had done to the Clan, she now works the weather to their advantage.
