Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sirius has a somewhat haughty nature that tends to rub most other dragons the wrong way, but this proud front is actually a facade that conceals a very insecure dragon. He's smaller than the average Tinsel dragon, his scales aren't as lustrous, and he tends to be ill more often, though they are only minor ailments and as such, do not threaten his life. Sirius is quick to become angry or jealous without really thinking about the situation, but he isn't petty; he can own up to a mistake and realized when he is wrong.
