Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bellatrix- Her name means warrioress, and she definitely lives up to her name.  A fierce warrior even for a black dragon, she is excellent in battle and often practices battle moves when she has idle time.  She's not very talkative, and is usually very quiet during conversations, only talking if she is asked a question.  She's very blunt and won't dally, so she won't hesitate to be rude if that's her point.  She does have a soft side, as unbelievable as it may seem, and she shows it especially when she's with friends and family.  She is often kind to hatchlings, but her patience span is often short, and young dragons always ask a lot of questions, so she can get irritated with them.  She's a black dragoness, rather small for her age and breed, but all the more hardheaded for it.  Her eyes are bright green, with excellent night vision, and she has white horns and belly armor plates.  Her claws are ivory and sharp as thorns.  Her wings are inky black and very soft.
