Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Kitara is a paper dragon, with frail but beautiful wings. When she came to the Whispers clan she was already a hatchling. She was found near a cave by Illum Whispers, a white dragon, on one of her moonlight walks. Illum took Kitara back to the Whispers clan, where the young hatchling quickly thrived and grew up.

Kitara loves the sky and will spend most of her time floating in it. She enjoys places where the air is warm, because it will carry her higher that way. The other Whispers dragons fear she will float away one day if she's not careful, and Skylark Whispers, a Skywing dragon, makes sure to keep a close eye on her when she's floating.
