Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dreamflyght is a mischievous and playful dragon. Dreamflyght knows better than to put his owner into a dream-like state. Thus, he purposely flies out of the territory and finds humans to put them in trances for hours. The humans, unaware about this happening, snap out of their trances after hours or even after the whole day, to find that the time has gone by and they hurriedly go about their own business. Some of his owner's dragons frown upon this practice, saying that he shouldn't interfere with other beings and stray out of the territory, Dreamflyght ignores their complaints and continues putting humans into trances. Besides delaying humans, he enjoys flying up into the clouds and then plummeting back down again. Dreamflyght lives in the Sky Territory, which has an ample amount of trees, a huge lake, mountains, caves, hills, plains, and has the ocean next to it.
