Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Luna Moonshine fell to Earth from a far away moon called Moonstone when she was just an egg. No one, not even her human knows how she got here.  She has an orb on her tail, a piece of the planet itself, which assists her in getting the energy she needs as she is no longer able to absorb direct energy from Moonstone.  She is beautiful, gentle, and kind-hearted, which is the reason why her loving mate, Lunar was first attracted to her.  He spoils her, and brings her her favorite plants such as Katterpod roots, Moon-disc leaves, and Lacefoam nectar.  She doesn't remember anything about her homeland, but she can see it every night from the big rock her and Lunar like to relax on outside their cave.
