White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

If one asks the other dragons in Laura-Lana's clan to describe Shroudsong the answer is almost always a variant of the following two:

A: Uhm... that's probably one of our White Dragons. Shroudsong would fit the naming scheme our Whites came up with...

B: Shroudsong is the healer assigned to the Gaia Xenowyrms.

It says a lot about a dragon if the most remarkable thing about them is their job description.
