White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cleanliness and White Dragons usually go together, but Sauberzauber is obsessed about it. He is sure dirt is the reason for all ills in Valkemare, especially all diseases.

He is responsible for the health of the Bauta Dragons in Laura-Lana's clan. Whenever one of his charges comes to him for help he spends trice as much time cleaning the Bauta and lecturing it on cleanliness as he does for healing. This brings even the fabled serenity of the Bautas to the breaking point. The regal dragons aren't exactly known for being filthy and neither appreciate attempts to clean them up further nor lectures on how to stay spotlessly clean.
