Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Flare-back claims that he is the leader of everyone in his general area, but no one really listens to him. For one thing, he spends most of his time guarding his home with protective spells so that nobody can go within fifty feet of the area. There are tales of innocent dragons that have approached his cave, only to find themselves suddenly burned, smashed, and buried in confetti. This has caused dragons to avoid the area like the plague, and have put up numerous warning signs to save the lives of travelers and anyone that strays too close by accident. For another thing, the only rule he has ever created is "Do not kill or intentionally injure other dragons living under my rule." Ignoring the fact that he has broken that rule many times through his spells, most dragons around do not even know that he considers himself their leader, rendering them incapable of following his law.
