Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

He was the first of the clan and so he is the leader.  His mate Prinzessin brought him three eggs but only one hatched.  He became very protective of his daughter and engaged her to a guardian dragon.  His only thought was for her safety and so rejected her thoughts of the matter.  He was deeply hurt that she no longer speaks to the rest of the clan.  Also, now that she has fled his pain has increased ten fold but he does his best not to show it because he is the leader and must appear strong.  He has noticed his mate Prinzessin withdrawing from him but he doesn't know what to do.  His mind is in turmoil.
