Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
With his wings raised to the sun, Majestic Lily, known as Maja in the Neotropical Clan, keeps a constant vigil on the neotropical dragons in Xythus's territory. He is the proud male pack leader, and for a good reason. Despite being a small dragon, he is swift of movement and a quick thinker, making a worthy opponent to all who dare to challenge him. Maja is the silent type, preferring to act first and ask questions later. To preserve his leader-like tough appearance, he frequently holds sparring matches with the other males and hunts for the whole clan. However, when alone, Maja cares for the young and females like a dedicated parent. He is rather fair, as he does not choose favorites among his own clan and breed; however, as a leader with pressure to be protective and perfect at all times, he has no choice but to be constantly untrustworthy of the other dragon types.
