Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Venom is cunning and vicious while hunting, but outside of the hunt she is very mysterious. She doesn't interact with any of the other dragons and spends a good deal of the day practicing incantations in her own little corner. She is receptive of her tamer, however, and will gladly accept a pet on the head, provided her tamer approaches her with an offering of some sort. Venom's magic is extremely accurate due to a unique homing ability she developed as a hatchling. As a trade-off, it is somewhat weaker than the average Magi dragon's. Still, a few direct hits is enough to subdue most prey.
