Serrati Wyverns are a fierce breed of dragon typically found in volcanic areas or in desert scrubland. With their keen vision, these fearsome predators can pick out well-camouflauged prey from the slightest movement. They are named for the double rows of serrated teeth that line their beaks, which allow these wyverns to maintain an unbreakable grip on prey while they tear into their target with deadly hooked claws. Though these dragons are combative with nearly everything, they are surprisingly well-mannered when raising their offspring in communal nests. Males, however, tend to be chased off as soon as eggs are laid.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

WincingCharm is an immature adult with an appetite for anger, plain and raw. He follows the general stereotype for Seragamma Wyverns—vicious and volatile—and is prone to wreaking havoc and destroying anything when experiencing fits of rage. His short temper makes him less approachable, and he tends to get set off by the smallest things, such as a drop of rain landing on his snout. However, he is easily avoided as he tends to scale the cliff face in search of food for his mate, a rather quiet Spotted Greenwing named NightLight.

During mating season, WincingCharm gets particularly over-protective and angry towards anyone that dares to approach his mate—taking precautions such as being with her at all times and hissing ferociously if another dragon comes so much as within ten metres of their vicinity. Any children that the pair have had, however, tend to miraculously vanish from the cave.
