Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Slypha was born into the world the same day her parents perished. She was kidnapped by humans, but her new owner couldn't bring herself to kill the hatchling. Others justified that she had been kept alive so that once she grew, she could be killed for her golden scales, but these comments fell upon her owner's death ears. Slypha couldn't help but hear these herself though, so she started to become anxious. For this reason she was given a 'mate', her darling Vackna. He was a gold as was she so he understood her problems, and together they stayed with their owner, sensing now that no harm could befall upon them. The only trouble that Slypha has is her inability to produce eggs with Vackna, thus adoption is in their future together. Slypha was never a fighter or the smartest in the bunch, but she sees herself as fortunate and never takes anything for granted, including her Mate.
