Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Glitz, as he's called for short, knows he doesn't look much like his tinsel kindred. These days he doesn't much care either; he's got it on good authority that has three-times great grandmother Penk didn't gleam polished silver. Instead, she glittered a deep, burnished rose, like midsummer flowers. He hopes one day he can shine as brightly as she does, though he's pretty sure this involves spending a lot of time in the sunlight and, if he's totally honest, he's afraid of burning his fair complexion. At any rate, Glitz has the special honour of being Lily's 500th dragon, and bringing his keeper a shiny gold trophy is just as good as sparkling like holiday tinsel... for now.
