Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

One of the few eggs to hatch during the dragon plague, Lil' snow was hardly able to survive. The weather was too warm, Snow was weak, and his immunity was low. Soon he became very sick. The disease became deadly, and the only cure was a rare herb that would cure all sickness. The problem was that once taken, a hatchling would not be able to grow up. Dragonwolf decided it was better for Snow to be stuck as a hatchling than to be dead, and reluctantly mixed the herb with the dragon's food. Once fed, Snow immediately felt better, but in time wondered why he never grew older. Eventually Dragonwolf had to explain what happened. Snow knew why Dragonwolf fed him the herb, but he still wonders what he would have looked like if he grew up. Currently, he wanders the icy mountains, visiting Dragonwolf, hunting small creatures, and seeking knowledge.
