Avatars of Destruction possess a volatile disposition. They thrive on chaos and decay, and their horns and plated scales are as hard as forged metal. Because of their affinity with darkness and the destructive forces of nature, it was once thought that these dragons were omens of ill fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Baroban, like most every Avatar of Destruction, is filled with seething hatred.

Dragons he comes across fear and hate him for what he is, or rather, what he isn't: a destroyer. Yes, it's what he's best at. Yes, it's what he's made to do. But he's not a destroyer. He's a balancer. If not for him, if there were only the other two Avatars and no Avatar of Destruction, there would be no clearing forests for settlement and resources, there would be no breaking useless once-functional tools into new parts to build with. It would be much harder for things to change or be created. He was a part of that, he was needed!

But others didn't see it that way. He was shunned. He was hated. And that was why he hated so much.

He didn't want to meet that stereotype, though, the rampaging monster with no self-control. It was hard. He needed help. So he got it from two Floret Wyverns who hated each other.

He was careful to make sure Larieta and Maruthan never crossed paths, but he knew they'd soon know...
