Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Once upon a winter's night, before the dawn of Christmas Day, two eggs were left on the doorstep of a young woman's cave. Golden and wrapped in red ribbons, they were lain with care in the snow.

Quickly the woman took the two eggs into her home and placed them in the warmest part of the caverns. It wasn't long before they hatched and grew wings. The woman named the twins Itsudatte My Santa and My Santa. With golden wings, they had grown into angels.

Afterwords, the snow that lightly fell outside became heavier and heavier. The  residents of the young woman's cavern became worried; Their food supply was dwindling. Bravely, the young Snow Angels volunteered to venture into the harsh wind in search of food. When they returned, their wings were laden with a blanket of snow. Slowly, as the warmth of the cave hearth melted it away, something amazing happened. Where the snow had been, their feathers had turned a pure white.
