Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

It was a complete disaster. Aineldiel stared at the broken statue, her insides a battleground between the rising terror of getting caught and the sinking feeling of what everyone was going to say.

Not having inherited the gracefulness of her mother Aineldiel was rather clumsy. Although this time her ungainliness had landed her in a deep amount of trouble. Every time a human village agreed to a peace treaty, the dragons made a point of presenting them with a gift, in this case it was a fine marble statue bedecked with fine jewels, which Aineldiel had just broken.

Just then the cave mistress entered the small cave and despite Aineldiel's attempts to hide the damage, saw what had happened. Reaching into her basket the cave mistress pulled out a small tub of a greyish pink liquid.

"Magic glue" she explained.

Curious, Aineldiel asked why she had such a thing.

The cave mistress shook her head with a smile.

"I've held onto it ever since Whyte broke the last one..."
