Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Heart" in Japanese. He is the son of Eikou and Kiseki. He is a very friendly dragon, and loves to chitchat with all the other dragons in the colony. He also enjoys singing, dancing, flying above the clouds, and causing the other dragons to have particularly nice dreams. When he met Nikkou, he knew that she was the girl for him. He started bringing her flowers and other gifts, and serenading her. Turns out he didn't need to try so hard, because she liked him as well. After a wonderful courtship, he asked her parents for permission to become her mate. Ken'ichi and Gina agreed, and so he asked her. She agreed with all her heart and more. They became mates, and look forward to living out their eternal lives together, and always in love.
