Sweetlings are a small, flightless breed of dragon. They are omnivores who favor sweet fruits and honey, and have been known to go to great lengths to obtain their favorite treats. Their long, prehensile tails allow them to grab onto branches and give them superior balance. Sweetlings are expressive dragons and have a large array of calls to communicate with others. They become very vocal during breeding season and sing long, beautiful melodies to attract a mate. Inquisitive in nature, Sweetlings are known to investigate anything that piques their interest, and are quick to flee if the object of their curiosity strikes back.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

I only get the Leftovers is a sad little valentine. His father eats every little treat that he manages to get his claws on. Doesn't seem to matter what Leftovers does, I eat Chocolate Hearts always gets to his sweets first. The curious nature of the sweetling has paid off for Leftovers because he occasionally finds hiding places to hide the desserts, but even this usually fails. High up in trees are usually good hiding places because his father has become a little chunky due to eating two servings of sweets every chance he gets and can no longer climb to great heights. This being the case Leftovers has become very apt at climbing and using his feathered tail to balance on the slimmest of branches. As he learned to climb to greater heights he also found that his singing and chortling could carry for miles and miles unimpeded by the trees. This causes him to sit at the tops of trees and talk to himself, and other creatures that live that high, all day and neglect any duties he may have.
