Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling seems to be filled with a fell, inner flame.

And look! Its wings have grown, and it’s become rather vicious and wary of others of its kind.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This little fireball of a dragon, rightfully named Born to Raise Hellfire, never finds himself alone. A gawking crowd of dragons normally can be found close by ready to scold him incredulously on his insane behavior. This dragon, though he appears slightly mellow on the outside, enjoys lighting nests of eggs on fire, lighting the tails of unsuspecting dragons on fire, and wreaking havoc on the entire dragon community. None of the dragons that associate with this unfortunate troublemaker seem to know the reason behind his aggressive behavior, and rationalize that it's merely a cry for attention. The other Hellfires in his group attempt to keep him under close surveillance, always try to be helpful to him, and appear to be on his side. Deep down, Born to Raise Hellfire is actually quite lonely and is only acting upon his nature.
