White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Night hatched soon after midnight, emerging as a bright white spark into the dark night. Most of the other dragons were asleep. Even his mother, Angel, slumbered, unaware that her firstborn son had come into the world. Only one other dragon was awake: Raiquen, Night's father. Perhaps because of this, Night is much like his father. The one dominant white dragon trait that can be seen is his love of healing.

Night aspires to be as great a trickster as he perceives Raiquen to be. He especially loves to try and tangle up Gafni's vines. Night is also, unlike most white dragons, nocturnal. Although he cannot see as well as his father in his dark, he still prefers it to the daytime. Night is also even more of a loner than his father. Many of Night's characteristics aren't because he's naturally that way, however, but because he wants to be like his father.
