Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Elika is known in his clan mostly because of his hunting skills. As a hatchling, he enjoyed chasing small animals that would wander by the cave. Because of that, his speed and stamina skills developed, causing a great change to Elika. He is one of the best hunters in his clan. He never kills without a reason. Despite his affection for catching prey, Elika is always willing to help others whenever help is needed. He constantly lets his owner ride him under the glowing light of the yellow, orange, and pink sunset sky. However, when Elika was little, he was often abused and neglected by the other dragons. If it wasn't for his owner, Elika would've been dead by now.
