Honey Drakes are small, energetic creatures that feed almost exclusively on flower nectar, honey, and insects. The myriad scales covering their bodies protect them from the stings of angry bees as they feed from hives, though these dexterous and wily drakes rarely need the protection. Though notably silent most of the time, Honey Drakes are capable of producing a purr-like thrum that seems to calm bees down, and their ravenous appetite for nectar results in a free meal for the hive, harvested from the drakes’ own scales.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Through most eyes in the Pollinis Tribe, Meluna appears to be a completely regular honey gatherer. She is the best at her job out of all the tribes' honey gatherers, but they all think that it's pure skill. This isn't entirely true, see, Meluna has the power to talk to bees of all kinds. She can negotiate and make trade routes with the different hives in order to peacefully obtain their honey. She can be told secrets regular honey gatherers would never be able to figure out, such as the fact there was a massive honey store behind the ivy on the oak tree. She has received many rewards, and gained the respect of many of her fellow tribemates, but so far, nobody knows about her ability, and she doesn't plan on telling anybody any time soon. They may take advantage of it.
