Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Molysomo spends her days drifting gracefully through the air, beautiful and serene, more wind than beast in her choice to almost never alight. There's nothing unusual about this--most of her breed spend the majority of their time in the skies--and so no one thinks anything of it, awwwing and admiring her appropriately as she wings past overhead.

Yet the truth--the dark, terrible truth--isn't so much that she doesn't want to land as that she can't. For a great horror awaits her there, something she swore she would never go back to, no matter the cost...

DIRT!

AHHHHHHHH filthy horrible nasty muddy bug infested DIRT! Of all the (many many many) things she's terrified of, it's dirt that frightens her most, with all its germs and soil and god knows what else. For this reason any landings she's forced to make are done on the tops of bare, rocky slopes only, the poor dragon's eyes all but bulging out as she stares in wordless terror at the dirt so far beneath her perch...
