Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Imago was left to die by a black marrow dragon that destroyed a cave and all other life in it. Bit Cloud and Praevidentia discovered the cave while exploring, and took the egg back to Mt. Isolina. Imago is proud of his lineage, which includes several gold dragons. He is proud of this to such an extent that he believes he is superior to the other dragons. Bit Cloud thought of his antics as "funny," but the other dragons see him as an annoying drain of energy. Angelus went as far as to make a copy of Imago's lineage paper and tamper with it. The resulting drama nearly caved in the heads of Lunare and Alternum, who dislike such drama with a passion. Everyone else thought of it as funny, though. His mate, Misericordiam is the only one who can keep him in line when he goes on a drama-tantrum.
