Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Despite being the first of his brothers to not retain the golden scales of his father, Princeps had no difficulty in establishing his worth in the clan. His owner, raising him from an egg with the same dedication as those bred by her own dragons, reassured him that the circumstances of his breed did not tarnish his divine ancestry nor make him any less valuable or complete as a descendant of Apollo. In kind, he's returned the favor by proving to be a most loyal and fierce protector. With that said, he did incur the wrath of Lavinium, the eldest magma dragon, when he successfully led a Guardian of Nature summoning after countless months of upset on Lavinium's behalf.
