Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
His name means "Albino" in Japanese. He is one of the many sons of Mamosuke and Emi, and was raised alongside his brother Shi-rudo. Growing up it often bothered Hakukakotai that he didn't look like either of his parents, his brother, or most of the other dragons in the colony. His parents always comforted him though, as did the rest of his family. Even though his family and the other dragons were all kind to him, Hakukakotai always felt so isolated and alone. Then he met Arubino, and with one look, he knew he'd found his soul mate. She was an Albino dragon just like him. She was gorgeous, with a flawless white hide, ruby red eyes. He introduced himself, and soon they found that they have a lot in common. Both are nocturnal, are good hunters, and enjoying singing. They started courting soon after they met, and on a beautiful night, just after Spring began, they became mates. They are so in love, and always will be.
