Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Notius received her name because she is both incredibly naughty and over eager to pass blame off on others. Angry villagers, finding their stockpile of candied walnuts has just been raided, will confront her screaming theft--only for her to insist wildly that it was actually the SQUIRRELS who were to blame. Despite the incredulity of her claims, she somehow always manages to convince people (perhaps through magic), leaving her to enjoy her ill-gotten gains in peace. The one exception to her wiles is the very same scapegoats she makes so much use of--the squirrels. They never listen to her detailed explanations of her innocence, how she couldn't POSSIBLY have stolen all of their nuts because oh goodness she has a terrible nut allergy really, no--instead they just straight-up start biting her tail until she gives the food back. Perhaps this magical immunity is because they don't understand a lick of language!
