Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The egg of Icy Pinkerton was left in a cave where people always came by, searching for his specific breed because of their immense usefulness.

But that was not the only reason why it was taken home by his new owner. Even still in egg form he showed a special beauty, which developed even more when he grew up. Perhaps it is due to his brighter coloured ancestors, but especially in the early morning light his wings seem to have a deeper shade of pink, compared to all the other dragons of his breed.
