Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

User Description

Mer-Seshat was given that name by the Egyptian dragons in his clan, because it means "beloved of Seshat (Goddess of writing and wife of Thoth)." They reasoned that of course a paper dragon would be beloved by a Deity of writing. Though he is not a real dragon as such, he behaves as if he is very fond of his female counterpart, Merit-Thoth (beloved of Thoth, God of writing and husband of Seshat). Whether they have any actual sentience or not is not clear—no dragon has sensed anything from them telepathically, but they behave sometimes as if they were independently intelligent. The magic used to create them came from Freyja Magiksmodir, the most potent of the magi dragons in the clan, so it is possible that their creation-spell had a bit more life to it than most, as it were.
