Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Peper is very lazy for a Terrae. She spends the majority of her time splayed out in open fields or draped in the branches of giant trees. She is docile, but has a real attitude problem. While Peper is never one to engage in actual combat, she does have a bad habit of starting drama and discourse among the dragons of her community. She relies heavily on others to protect of her. Her older sister, Beverley, having mated to one of the powerful and famous Zyurangers, has claimed much power herself within their community. Peper leeches off this success, acting however she wants in front of others. However, when Beverley doesn't condone this behavior, and she rarely does, Peper relies on her other benefactor, her mate, Colossus. Colossus is known to follow Peper around, acting sort of like a bodyguard. Their exact relationship as partners is rather strange, since they really do treat it like some kind of business deal. Point being if anyone messes with Peper, Colossus is certain to step in.
