Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The sun-dappled paths of the forest, so harmless at first glance, hold many dangers that lurk in the half-light of the undergrowth. Dangers that creep out to hunt as the day fades into night. Many a traveller, a runaway, a refugee, have been lost wandering down roads so deep among the trees that no one ever hears them cry out in terror.

This is Eloalle's forest, seen as an untamed graveyard to most but possessing a wild beauty to those who know better. She, one of the few Terraes who still reside there, unfazed by the new evil that has slowly taken over, is its protector. But anyone who as ever tried to navigate the forest and was nearly killed by the strange vegetation that seems to have a mind of its own but by some miracle survived knows: that Eloalle is that miracle, who protects the forest from dangers, but also others from the dangers of the forest.
