Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bronze Tokophobia is nothing like her name suggests, though she will admit she likes her nickname, Toko. She is decidedly green, both physically and metaphorically, as evidenced in her talent with plants, and she definitely does not fear human "childbirth", for it will never affect her as an egg-laying creature. What she does fear is the open sky, and she refuses to step out of the forest she calls home unless it is directly into a cave or a similar area. This Terrae is the opposite of jealous of her reluctant mate's wings and is ecstatic to be so much larger than him in return for her lack of flight ability. As the Specialist apparently desired, Toko skeptically proved her namesake false by "giving birth" to her lazy little son. She often expresses her desire for more flightless friends so she doesn't have to look up to say goodbye. She is quite close with the green dragon, O'Quatre G'Ceppe and her mate.
