Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s covered in very hot magma.

Some of its magma has hardened, maybe this means something?

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This little one's name comes from the Romanian word for "hot". She's a happy, healthy Hatchling whose favorite activity is swimming in the lava near her cave. Every time the local volcano erupts, or the crust over the molten magma cracks, she gets excited and all worked up, and won't leave her guardians alone until someone takes her swimming!
