Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Frostbitten Earth is a protective dragon; he would die to protect all the dragons in his pack, Nocturnal Fliers, for he is their leader. He shows them his love by the beautiful glass homes he makes for them. His mate is Invisible Moonlight. He is a bit detached from his emotions, believing they show weakness. He loves soaring through the sky at night, when the markings on his body produce a warm blue glow as his body grows hotter. He has a scar, three claw marks on his right shoulder, from a fight with the leader of a pride of Sunstone Dragons, Rynyt. He was searching for territory when he was blindsided by Rynyt; he fought his first battle over territory. Rynyt was nearly killed and retreated with eight Sunstone females, and Frostbitten Earth claimed the territory as his own, along with his four pack mates, Invisible Moonlight, Blackfoot Silver, Pankor, and his son, Icy Irony.
