Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Death Note 2 carefully copied down the list of names in the ledger and wrote them across their wings. As a tiny paper dragon they had little to contribute in combat and couldn't even defend their family against the smallest of enemies. Well no more. Desperate to aid the clan and prove their worth to the clan leader, Death Note consulted the magi dragons and finally found a way to help the family.  

The clan leader's mate Starmaker had given Death Note another enchantment, the magic to kill any human whose name was written on their body. This meant Death Note would always be tattooed with the names of those they had killed, a constant reminder of their deeds, but they hadn't cared.

Sneaking into the house of a magistrate in one of the human villages, Death Note had uncovered a list of dragon slayers and hunters in the area. It had taken them all night to write down the names, but Death Note 2 thought the price was worth it. By morning their family would be a lot safer.
