Rosebud Dragons are a fun and social breed found most often in the spring. The petal-like feathers that grow on their sides spread their sweet and floral scent. Although they have poor eyesight, they have ribbon-like extensions that extend their olfactory abilities to help create a map of the area around them. When flying, Rosebud dragons tend to hover, using their wings to fan their scent throughout the air. A widespread breed, they go to great effort to visit as many flowery fields as possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Far more fiery than her mate, Caliph, Thorn is the child of a Tsar and thinks everyone ought to know it. Pride and boldness are, however, not inherently negative traits. While she does tend to be insistent about getting her way, she justifies her stances with solid reasoning and changes them when proven wrong, and her view that she is the strongest of the local dragons is the same belief with which she justifies risking her life when needed to protect them. Any fool who threatens good people on her watch will soon regret it, the strongly built dragon chasing the scum through a patch of thornbush at least and putting a swift end to their evil at worst. All this being said, at the end of the day she much prefers relaxing among the common folk than ruling above them, resting contently in the sun with her chatterbox husband nestled at her side.
