Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Janis is extremely focused on having "stuff". It doesn't matter if she has any use for the "stuff" as long as it's nice "stuff". If another dragon in her clan has a nice necklace, she wants pretty necklet too. If one of her brethren has a crown in his hoard, she wants a shiny diadem. If a fellow dragon owns a pretty picture, she wants a sculpture and so on. She always pesters Herk about buying that "stuff" for her.
