Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sharing the clouds with her Daydream sister Veil, Mist liked to shower in the cool rain and listen to the calm drizzle tap at the ground. Much like her sister, Mist normally spends her time on a dark, rainy cloud, sending down light storms to her family below when the days get too dry for them to take. She has a kind of emo attitude, being second-rate to her clear-sky sister, and doesn't enjoy her company either. Her rivalry for the story-telling sister has made her a bit shunned in the family; the only one who likes Mist for who she is is her Nebula brother Enigma, who visits her at night to watch the stars and talk to her.
